By accessing or using the Istissmar prediction market platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Istissmar.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. The Service is not available to users in jurisdictions where prediction markets or similar financial instruments are prohibited by law, including but not limited to the United States, United Kingdom, France, China, and other restricted territories as listed in our geo-blocking policy.
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, including your wallet private keys, and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Istissmar operates a prediction market platform where users can trade on the outcomes of real-world events. Trading on prediction markets involves risk, and you may lose some or all of your deposited funds. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You acknowledge that prediction market outcomes are determined by real-world events and that Istissmar does not guarantee any particular outcome. Market resolution is performed by designated administrators or automated oracles based on publicly verifiable information.
Istissmar charges fees on certain transactions, including but not limited to trading fees, deposit fees, and withdrawal fees. Current fee schedules are displayed within the platform. We reserve the right to modify fee structures with reasonable notice to users. On-chain transactions are subject to a platform fee (currently 2%) collected at the time of trade execution, plus blockchain network gas fees which are paid directly to the network.
Users may deposit funds via supported payment methods including credit/debit cards (processed by Stripe), bank transfers, and cryptocurrency wallets. Withdrawals are subject to verification and processing times. We reserve the right to delay or refuse withdrawals if we suspect fraudulent activity or violations of these Terms. Minimum and maximum deposit/withdrawal amounts may apply.
Certain features of the Service utilize blockchain technology on the Polygon network. On-chain transactions are irreversible once confirmed on the blockchain. You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of wallet addresses and transaction details. Istissmar is not responsible for losses resulting from incorrect wallet addresses, failed transactions due to insufficient gas, or blockchain network congestion.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) manipulate markets through wash trading, spoofing, or other deceptive practices; (c) use automated bots or scripts to gain unfair advantage without authorization; (d) attempt to circumvent geo-blocking or access restrictions; (e) create multiple accounts to abuse referral programs or bonuses; (f) engage in money laundering or terrorist financing; (g) interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Istissmar and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our express written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Istissmar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you to Istissmar in the twelve months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the Service at your own risk.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the platform or via email. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, unless otherwise required by law.
